 to Andy Howey’s Birds of Prey Centre

Join us for an educational, interactive and hands-on experience with a range of birds of prey, reptiles and creepy crawlies!

​

Here at our home in the grounds of Haggerston Castle in Northumberland we have something for all of the family, from the cute and cuddly, the creepy and crawly and the scaly and slithery!

​

Each display lasts around 45 minutes and everybody has an opportunity to get up close to our resident beasts!

​

We only bring out one at a time in a controlled and safe environment, and don’t worry if you aren’t keen on getting hands on – we are aware and respectful of fears! Come and meet our Birds of Prey in our handling sessions.

​

Wet weather days we do our displays inside,  however seating is limited so make sure in holidays you book ahead!

​

 Everyone must prebook ahead of time. Please come 5/10 minutes before time as the entrance gates are shut at the session times so please give yourself time for entry.

Thursday -  Birds of prey  - 10.30, 11.30, 1.45 & 2.45

Friday - CLOSED

Saturday - Birds of prey  - 10.30, 11.30, 1.45 & 2.45

Sunday - Reptile and Insects - 10.30, 11.30, 1.45 & 2.45
